Distant Dinner
The biggest challenge for us in self-isolation is not being able to gather, especially Easter weekend. Every year at this time we look forward to sitting at the extra-long family table and passing the ham and scalloped potatoes back and forth, and sharing the excitement of spring. Like most of you, we’ve discovered the experience of virtual gathering – the awkward and chaotic but hilarious and heartwarming cocktail hour or birthday party. This series is about this new conviviality, and the feeling of being separated but joined through our screens, by social media challenges, and shared balcony applause. We’re all in this together. Happy Easter.
