Rob and David have worked together as a visual storytelling team for over 15 years. Each is an award-winning artist in his own right – Rob as a photographer, and David as a writer and creative director. As Les Garçons, they collaborate on image-driven stories that explore the intersection of food, art and culture.
Their work is refined, insightful, frequently playful, and articulates a passionate point of view on food, gastronomy and the culinary arts. As a creative duo, they produce images that invite a longer look, and words that inspire a closer reading.
Their images have earned accolades from Applied Arts, the Creative Review, and Grafika. Their commercial work shows a strategic insight honed over many years at ad agencies Cossette, Taxi, McCann and Cloudraker, and their work was shortlisted at the 2016 Taste Canada food writing awards.
